What doesn’t break us, makes us stronger. I find that sentiment to be somewhat obscene. I guess sometimes it’s true, sometimes hurtful events that don’t quite break us, builds a level of tollerance. The ability to take things in our stride that should otherwise be damaging, comes from the building of tollerance.
